Cottars 1920's Camp
Conservation area in South East Masai Mara

As shown in Architectural Digest, Cottar’s harkens back to the era of romance, elegance and adventure. As the first safari camp in Kenya started by Calvin Cottar it is still family run by his great grandson, Calvin Cottar. Elsa's Kopje

Elsa’s Kopje is a hidden jewel in the remote and wild Meru National Reserve made famous by the book and movie Born Free and named after the lioness Elsa. The lodge built on the site of George Adamson’s first campsite, consists of nine luxurious cottages that offer complete privacy and the ultimate “room with a view”. Loisaba Wilderness Lodge

Loisaba is a private working game ranch where the rare northern species of Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe can be found. Here the Samburu and Masai tribes are full partners in this remote and magnificent region. Loisaba is made for adventure. Manda Bay is a small, intimate beach resort overlooking the warm Indian Ocean on the Kenya coast. Richard's Camp
Masai Mara

Richard’s Camp consists of just seven tents with en suite bathrooms, flushing toilets and hot showers in traditional African style, but furnished with modern luxury. Evenings begin with cocktails by the campfire, followed by a three-course meal under a canopy of stars. At the end of the day guests can indulge in a Victorian bath tucked away in the forest, surrounded by flickering candles and the sounds of the bush.

Day and night game drives, bush walks, a visit to a local village and a day trip to Lake Victoria for trout fishing can all be arranged. Richard grew up here from the age of three.

Sabuk
Laikipia at Northern Frontier


Sabuk remains a family home with five guest cottages that are open fronted, with hand carved furniture, en suite bathrooms and stone bath tubs with amazing views. Children are welcome with baby “look out” service. There are camel assisted walking safaris-walk or ride-tailor made to suite all guests, along with night game drives, horse riding, bush breakfasts, line fishing, and evening sundowners overlooking a favorite watering hole for elephants.

Saruni
Conservation area on western edge of the Mara.

Saruni is a home away from home with six cottages furnished with Colonial antiques, Persian carpets and African art. Watch a wildlife show on the Mara Plains from the hammock and sun bed of your veranda or onboard an open Land Rover with professional guides and Masai trackers. Enjoy a bush walk with the Masai trackers, bird watching or a cultural village visit in this eco-friendly camp.

Tortilis
Amboseli National Park

Tortilis Camp features unrivaled views of Mount Kilimanjaro from each of the seventeen-ensuite luxury tents and the best food in the bush served from the open fronted dining room. The lantern lit bar is the jovial meeting place where travelers of like mind exchange tales of the bush.
